Goanimate

Below are a couple of examples of my year 9 class' first attempts at using Goanimate. They used the website to produce cartoon strips on the topic of invitations to the cinema. I was really pleased with what they managed to produce in just one lesson.

GoAnimate.com: Dracula and Frankenstein :D

Wordle task

My Year 7 class have been preparing for their assessments. I asked them to use Wordle to make word clouds from their presentations.

I have published some of the results below. I am sure they would like you to comment on their work. I think the results were great. However, I would like to remind you all that spelling is important!

Deutsches Essen- lecker!

My Year 8 class have been working on the topic of food recently. They all produced a mini lesson to teach a partner 5 new food and drink words of their own choice. I was really pleased with the different vocabulary that they chose and also the variety of resources that they produced: flash cards, wordsearches, puzzles, gap-fill texts. Well done Year 8! Gut gemacht!

Competition for March- Jamie 9J/Je1 hat gewonnen!

Can you name the famous German composer whose works include "The Wedding March"? It is the 200th anniversary of his birth this year.

Write his name on a piece of paper and post in the postbox in room 8. Don't forget to include your name and form too. The winner will be drawn at the end of March.

Viel Glück!
